Maija Knight

Maija Knight is a Detroit-based interdisciplinary artist and designer. Centering her practice around illustration, she incorporates design, photography, and other fine art practices. Maija utilizes traditional techniques and disciplines in unconventional ways to find alternative practices and explore new systems of creating such as employing illustrative techniques using photographic mediums. Inspired by the human condition, her work interrogates the complexity and fluidity of the human psyche and its physical form, with special focus paid to the convolutions of growing-up and self-evolution.
